The Great Public Sale of Unrealized but Brilliant Ideas

Monday, October 31st, 2011

Something unbelievable happened: I submitted an idea for an auction: The great Public Sale of Unrealized but Brilliant Ideas, an initiative by Sarah Vanhee happening last Saturday at the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven as part of Take it or leave it and the Dutch Design Week. The idea was auctioned as last and goes like this: Churches have towers with bells and mosques have a minaret for the imam, both are used to call believers for pray. The Van Abbemuseum has a tower and should use it to call the people for art. Call For Art!

The idea was finally bought by Stichting Doen (The Do-Foundation, if i may translate it like this). So big chance it will actually get done too.
